Dead Man’s Patterns

Hormazd Narielwalla

As artist-in-residence at the Savile Row tailor Dege & Skinner, Hormazd Narielwalla developed a fascination with the brown paper patterns of each customer, prompting him to produce limited edition book Dead Man’s Patterns. This artistic design story was inspired by a set of bespoke patterns belonging to a deceased customer and recreates the patterns as objects of art.
